The WE CAN Program won the 2008 Effective & Innovative Practices award from APPA, the national association for higher education facilities administrators. This award is given annually at the organization’s annual conference and recognizes programs “that enhance service delivery, lower costs, increase productivity, improve customer service, generate revenue, or otherwise benefit the educational institution”, according to the association’s website (www.appa.org).
A contingent of WVU employees involved with the WE CAN program will be travelling to San Antonio, Texas in July to receive the award. Congratulations WE CAN and WVU!
