On Tuesday, September 21st of 2010, WVU signed an agreement with the US Environmental Protection Agency to join the Sustainability Partnership Program. This program, with the help of the EPA, will cut down the university's negative environmental impacts and costs associated with energy consumption and waste disposal. After the signing, WVU President Clements, EPA Admin Shawn Garvin, and others were given a tour of the green roof on Brooks Hall.
