Students gathered on the Mountainlair Green on Earth Day to celebrate and honor our planet. The event was sponsored by the WVU Office of Sustainability, WELL WVU, and the WVU Young Democrats. Many local groups such as the Sierra Student Coalition, Friends of Decker's Creek, Cafe Con Leche, WECAN, The Wildlife Society, West Virginia Raptor Rehabilitation Center, ZipCar, Society of Environmental Professionals, and many more attended the show and educated attendees on ways to be sustainable.
