The Office of Facilities and Services at West Virginia
University is hosting a poster competition in the fall to celebrate Sustainability Day in October. The purpose of this competition is to
provide an avenue for middle and high school
students in Monongalia County to explore and
express their thoughts and ideas on innovation,
their community, emerging technologies, and how it
will affect their future.
Sustainability is a multidimensional way of thinking
and acting that meets present needs without
compromising the ability of future generations to
meet their needs. Collectively, sustainable outcomes
are a result of every individual’s commitment and
contribution toward the greater good and noble
cause that is placed before us.
