WVU has made a strong commitment to apply sustainable building practices and use alternative products that are adequate and economical while minimizing pollution and risks to human health and the environment. WVU already incorporates sustainable design in Oglebay Hall, which is LEED certified, and Brooks Hall, which has several sustainable features including a vegetated roof (green roof).
