Transportation and Parking

The Department of Transportation and Parking supports programs at WVU that promote sustainability initiatives. Besides the operation of the only public Personal Rapid Transit system in the world, the Department offers to students, faculty, and staff a variety of transportation options that reduce carbon emissions and traffic congestion and increase the region’s air quality through its WE GO! campaign for alternative transportation. While some of these efforts are in the early stages of development, the cumulative effect will be increased air quality, decreased traffic congestion, reduced reliance on limited natural resources, and utility cost savings for our students, staff, and faculty. mstation
